Let's Be Real Sportscast Episode 5: The Year of The Black Mamba

This is the last episode to close out the year of 2015. Which I call, "The Year of The Black Mamba." This year has been full of surprises; several athletes claiming that they will retire at the seasons' end. Most notably, Kobe Bryant himself. Providing 20 years of memories there are plenty of highlights to reminisce about, and plenty of accolades to digest. What's your favorite memory of The Mamba!?!

On this episode of Let's Be Real, we decided to visit our local watering hole and do a drink-filled episode. We're here at The Rogue & Canon bar having a few drinks; discussing topics like we usually do. This episode was full of debates. Popular topics like, "Is Steph Curry better than LeBron?" We also discussed which undefeated team would make it furthest in the playoff. Carolina or New England? Cincinnati recently was in the conversation but lost to the Texans. Andy "Fire" Dalton had some choice words for Texans' J.J. Watt. We also got to sit in with Q-Dawg from Constant Sports & Sneaks. We decided we needed an unbias view for Big Sherm and my madness and he did his best to quell the storm.

Some franchises are trying to build on from last season success. Others know that their window of opportunity is closing. It's exciting, because for each player, there's a story. Whether you're one of the young guns who just signed a new contract to be a pivotal part of your team, or you're one of the savvy veterans in the prime of their careers trying to elevate their club to the Larry O' Brien trophy.
