Have you ever felt like you’ve lived a life of double consciousness, one as a man or woman of color, the other a perceived notion of whom you think you have to be? Many of us a wear mask to work, school, and other places of affluence. Why? Because we feel outnumbered and powerless. At least that’s how I use to feel. Not any more. My name is “IRON” Mike Steadman and I’m a unapologetic man of color. I’m a Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, and aspiring author.
